Laptop screen glitching pixels? Help?

Recently, my laptop screen has been "glitching" in and out of what seems to be pixels. They're always a red color, and sometimes happen when I pull up a picture with a lot of black color to it. I haven't changed any settings recently, so I'm not quite sure about this one. I figured I could turn to the Microsoft community to answer me. I was not able to get a screen shot of what my laptop looks like when this "pixel glitch" does happen, because the "glitch" goes away quickly sometimes. Can you see where I'm confused on this one? Can anyone help me? Maybe it's a simple solution that can easily be fixed by changing screen settings?

Also, if it helps, I have a hp 2000-227CL Notebook PC, Windows 7, intel Platinum (inside).

Hello Amber,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I can understand that you have issues with random glitches in the Windows 7 computer. We will certainly help you with the same.

You may follow the steps mentioned in the link below to boot to low resolution mode and check if the issue persist.

Advanced startup options (including safe mode)

If that doesn't help, you may try to update the latest graphic card drivers and see if that helps.
