Error 0X88982f8c

I have been editing old home movies for several months.  I converted using Handbrake. No problem until today. I did my START POINT and I got error 0X88982F8C. I can't do an end point. All I see warning triangles and that Movie Maker doesn't recognize format.

Has something changed I am not aware of?  I did my last edit about 8 weeks ago, no problems!

It's possible that either the conversion is corrupted or you have mistakenly converted to a different format.

Either way, I'd convert again and make sure of the output format.
