Yes - to work it needs to be showing in the second (local network) image. The devices are not managing to communicate even though from image 1 the device is recognized. I think you may need to consult the Web Tuner 500 website for further advice on this, but I'll work back through my settings again to see if there is anything else that might have been overlooked and come back to you. - Ric.
Windows Media Player - function Media Server
I have Win8 with Windows Media Player 12. I even have the Sagem My Web Tuner 500. I'd like to play MP3-files from my laptop through this web tuner.
Both laptop and My Web Tuner are attached to my router through WiFi.
When I check the Control Panel what units are connected to the network both the laptop and the web tuner are visible.
But Windows Media Player cannot find this unit. So it is not possible to stream music to the unit.
What can I do to fix it?

2015-06-26T11:00:12+00:00 Have you 'allowed' it in media streaming options? (it should appear similarly to my Marantz in the shot below) Access this by opening WMP - 'Stream' - 'More Streaming Options'

2015-06-18T18:31:56+00:00 Hi Jens...
Are you seeing the 'Play To...' option in WMP? (as shown in the shot below) - If not there's a communication problem. If you are but it won't work then I would suspect a Firewall issue.
Thanks - Ric.
