ADF Expression Issue URGENT PROD ISSUE..please help!

Hello
I have the following ADF Expression
@markus.bohland@hotmail.de (variables('UpdateURL'),item().employeeId,'?expand=EmploymentStatuses,','Contacts') and when I run the pipeline it shows the URL I have attached. When I click on it, it does not include the Contacts. Please assist! Thanks!! Mike Kiser

Hello @Mike Kiser and thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I have reproduced the partial hyperlink effect in the output of a Set Variable activity. I understand this has you worried, but unless I am mistaken, it is not nearly as bad as you think.

This effect is most likely only confined to your ability to click the link. I do not expect it to actually affect the running of the web activity. Could you please confirm the activity results / data are as expected?

Hey @MartinJaffer-MSFT ,
I think you are right....I am trying to duplicate the functionality of what I am seeing in Postman as shown in the attachment. However, I can hit send on Postman and the phone number will be updated in the Ceridian UI. However, when I run the Web Activity with the same Body, it doesn't update the phone number. Let me look into this further; its one of those very perplexing issues. I was hoping it was the "incomplete" Link but as you mentioned that doesn't seem to be the root cause now, unfortunately. Thanks for your quick response!

Would you please try to use %2C, instead of comma , at the end of EmploymentStatuses e.g.,

@concat(variables('UpdateURL'),item().employeeId,'?expand=EmploymentStatuses%2C','Contacts')

Hi @Nasreen Akter ! Thanks, I incorporated this into my pipeline. The URL is acting as it should it appears, however I am not able to duplicate what I am successfully able to do in Postman. Thanks for your fast reply! I will keep frantically searching for the cause.

I need to add another parameter; what does the %2C actually do? I can't find it in the documentation.

Hi @Mike Kiser , %2C is a URL encoding for comma ,. The following expression is equivalent to ...?expand=EmploymentStatuses,Contacts,AnotherParam.

@concat(variables('UpdateURL'),item().employeeId,'?expand=EmploymentStatuses%2CContacts%2CAnotherParam')
