SORTING FILES BY FILESIZE

Question

I  save    space  images   in   jpeg   format    most are  in kilobytes   and  megabytes     I want to   sort    the files    according to  file size        ?

Do I select  an option in  the    Sort By>More  dialog box

With an Explorer window open that contains these files,

• Press and release the "Alt" key.  This will bring up an extra menu bar at the top.
• Select   View -> Details
• Click on the "Size"  header at the top of the list.  This will sort files by size.
• Single-left-click on the first file in the list to select it.
• Using only the "elevator" scroll at the right of the window, scroll down until the last file that you want in the first group is shown.
• Hold down the Shift key and left-click on this last file.  This should select this one and all above it
• Drag these selected files to another folder.

Press and release the "Alt" key.  This will bring up an extra menu bar at the top.

This is not an extra Menu bar. It is the Menu bar. Select Start, Control Panel, Folder Options, View tab, Advanced Settings Files and Folders, check the box before Always show menus and click the Apply button to always display the Menu bar.

I  want to   sort   the   files  by    KB   &  MB     thus  separating the   kb  files to  1   and mb files to  another folder

You need to do it as:

Right click > Sort By > Size.
