Also what is the trick to allow all http protocols to open java?
I am not comfortable and is not time consuming to add all addresses to the exception list.
I would like to allow all http procotols, then disable it when im done.
How do you do this?
Hello Emmett
The advice that Kiran gave does no longer work since Java 8 Update 20. The medium option explained in that answer link is no longer in Java. Only security settings High and Very High are available.
You can bypass this with a nasty trick by allowing all http protocols to open java, I do not recommend it.
I recommend you add exceptions to the list as explained in this article.

Hi Yuri,
I tried your exceptions recommendation and it still doesn't work. I added it to the exceptions list and I keep getting the error still.
I get the same error as well.
Reason: Your security settings have blocked and untrusted application from running.
Any suggestions?
It is vital I get this working to access network switch interfaces that uses java.
