I cant even roll back to windows 7 now because I have no mouse input except for when the bios splash screen is showing. Any help would be amazing thank you.

After spending 1 day and a half talking with agents online and the phone my husband took the pc to the Microsoft store as suggested by one the people on the phone. We tried the disk and partition and couldn't go thru with the volume, etc. Before taking the pc to the store we made sure that it was turning on. Indeed keyb and mouse work on BIOS but not on Windows environment. At the store the technician hook the pc and turned it on and voila the screen was locked and no response from the mouse and keyb. Technician said that during the update and not upgrade Windows10 somehow kicked the drivers out of the pc. They have to look at it and see what is going on. Hopefully sometime this week will hear from Microsoft store. Pc was dropped last Wed.

I have this problem with a wired keyboard, wired mouse, bluetooth keyboard, wireless keyboard, bluetooth mouse, and wireless mouse.  It happens to me for ALL types of input devices, including touch screen and pen on my Surface Pro 4.  I think the problem is much deeper than just that setting.

Same problem here with my husband pc ASUS. The pc was working fine last Monday night 4/4/16. He shut off the pc and it went into update mode. Next day he turn the pc on and got stuck on the screen lock with a picture of biker going down the hill. Mouse and keyboard didn't work at all. They work in the BIOS but not in the Windows environment. He called a talk to at least 6 people from the far east and they couldn't figure out the problem. Yeah, turn off or on the pc 3 times, unplug mouse, keyboard, replace them, etc...but nothing worked. Even remote access and the Windows 10 ISO disk  didn't work. Finally after to much frustration he took the pc to the Microsoft Store so they can look at it and at no charge. Oh well they tried to sale him a service package in order to expedite the service, he refused. Now he has to wait 6 days to get the pc back and hopefully at no charge, as they said. He has very important architectural drawings and other 3d files he was working on. Not only that but he is very upset for this fiasco. I know him very well and if they try to charge him he won't pay. Since he hasn't agree to pay anything. Even when he contact the people at the store he told them that he won't pay if he drops the pc. Fortunately we have 2 pc's and a laptop so he can continue his work. In the previous updates we lost the sound in 3 pc's. We were able to fix it ourselves. We have 2 HP's  and a Toshiba laptop and all together an age of 3 years. The one with the serious issues is the ASUS is the one most affected with this Windows 10 updates.  One thing for the blogs that we didn't try was to turn off the pc by unplugging the power cord, hmmm? Still a real FIASCO.

Are you using the Preview or RTM version as this is the site for testing of newer version of Win10 before releasing to the public and isn't a support site for the Public released version.

I am having problems with my Lenovo y500. I cannot use the Keyboard and external mouse.. I think it happened after an update.

I am able to move the touchpad around but clicking is not possible. I am running Windows 10 pro 64bit.

It also says "The drive where Windows is installed is locked" when i try to repair.. It starts up fine in a few seconds but then i cannot click to go to the login screen and use the keyboard.

    I tried this: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/the-drive-where-windows-is-installed-is-locked

tried repair with windows 10 on USB stick and CD. didnt work.

The power unplugging thing without battery did not work either..

I have windows 10  on my 128 gig plextor ssd. This worked fine for half a year. I now installed windows 10 on my HDD in the samen machine. The mouse and keyboard work on my HDD on windows 10  but wont on my SSD windows 10..

What can i do? still have some data on the ssd and cannot get in from HHD..
