I upgraded to the window 10 tech preview from windows 7 and now my mouse and keyboard dont work once the os loads up and brings me to the sign in screen. I cant even roll back to windows 7 now because I have no mouse input except for when the bios splash screen is showing. Any help would be amazing thank you.

Got this yesterday afternoon from the manuf of the pc.

For the issue you mentioned, I suggest you to first reset the BIOS to its defaulted settings:

    1. Press F5 when in the BIOS
    2. Then press F10 to save the settings and exit the BIOS

If this does not resolve the problem, please use the EZ Flash utility to update the BIOS:

    1. Please note: Before doing the BIOS update, please be sure your device is connected to a power source with the ac adaptor to ensure there will not be a power loss which could damage your device.
    2. Format a USB flash disk as a bootable disk.
    3. Store the BIOS file to the USB flash disk. You will find the BIOS update here: http://support.asus.com.cn/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=14&s=11&m=M51AD&os=45&ft=3&f\_name=H81M-E-ASUS-M51AD-0802CAP.rar#H81M-E-ASUS-M51AD-0802CAP.rar
    4. When POSTing, press Alt+F2 to enter EZ Flash and update the BIOS to see if this resolves the problem.

If you’re still experiencing problems, I’d suggest you to do a System Reset. Before doing the System Reset, please be sure to back up all of your files on a separate storage device as this will delete all files from your Desktop PC.

    System Reset instructions:

    1. Power on your device
    2. Immediately press F9 repeatedly during boot-up.
    3. On the next screen, click Troubleshoot.
    4. Select Reset your PC.
    5. Click Next.
    6. Select Only the drive where the Windows is installed.
    7. Select Just remove my files.
    8. Click Reset.

    Thanks.

Before getting all technical and interfering with your bios etc ask yourself this. Did I unplug anything such as an external hard drive before I turned of my computer? If you did then turn off your computer plug in the device you unplugged, restart your computer and all will be well.

had the same Problem - solved by unplug and replug the USB-cable while system is running (maybe this causes a driver reset ???)

This works for my system too, but I would rather not have to do it every time I power up.
