I was given a hard disk having windows 8 with these error to solve\repair them:
Your PC needs to be repaired.
File:\Boot\BCD
status: 0Xc0000225
Info: The Boot Configuration Data file is missing or contain error.
I try to solve this by following methods but i couldn't get success:
method 1: I try to repair by Automatic Repair through Advanced optionsusing windows 8 DVD.
result : The disk or drive is locked. first unlock your drive then try again.
method 2 : I try to rebuild BCD from command prompt.
result : BOOTREC/FIXMBR
successfully completed.
BOOTREC/FIXBOOT
file not found.
BOOTREC/REBUILDBCD
file not found.
I also try to format my disk using windows 8 but it won't show disk drive.
I try to back up data by making this hard disk slave but there also i faced same problem. In cmd , diskpart , list disk it show the hard disk and and also shows in disk management but i can't do nothing.
Is my hard disk damage? can it be fixed now?
I don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi Shreejal,
Thanks for the update on the issue. This issue might be due the wrong settings on Bios. You may try to restore BIOS settings to default, which may solve this issue for you.
Disclaimer: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.
If the issue still persists, issue might be with the hardware. There are some OEM computers on which the hard drive lock software or hardware feature is installed. You have to contact your computer manufacturer to get the hard drive unlocked.
Hope this information was helpful.
