Hi,
Try this workaround:
Right click on news article > Open in New Tab or Window. I find the feed halts until I'm finished reading the article and close it out. The feed will then proceed with the next batch of news articles.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
How can I stop the newsfeed from scrolling on the MSN homepage? I prefer to forward it manually. Thanks.

This a typical Microsoft "BS" answer. Why not give us the option in windows 10 of MSN News to eliminate the scrolling. I agree the scrolling is a real annoyance and serves no purpose.
Thanks for your response. I think I'm not making myself clear enough. I just want the feed to stop automatically progressing. It goes so fast that I sometimes I don't have enough time to read the titles, especially when they put three to a page. I know that if I open an article, whether it's in a new page or not, I no longer see the moving newsfeed, but when I go back to the homepage, I do. Hope that is clearer.
I mean the newsfeed stories that switch photos and stories every 2 seconds or so. Is there a way to stop the switching, or at least slow it down? I'm not sure what live tiles are. I do NOT mean the entire page.
In that case I'd advise you using the Feedback link to request a Pause button.
