i need to set default programs for a bunch of file extentions that currently  have unknown applications instead of a default program to open them. I dont know how to type these files or what they even mean.  Is there a program or list that i can use?

Hi,

Go to this link > look up the file extension > it will tell you what Program/s opens it > set your file associations/programs and/or install the correct Program to open it, then set it
