Installation failed with error code: (0x80070643) "Fatal Error during installation of .NET Framework 4.5"

Question

*************** ORIGINAL TITLE *********** Fatal Error during installation of .NET Framework 4.5

At first I've got everything installed properly .NET 4.0 and .NET 4.5. The only problem I've got is .NET Framework 3.5, and I can't install SQL Server 2008 because of this issue with .NET Framework 3.5.. 

So I tried some fix that are available online and found out the .NET FRAMEWORK CLEANUP UTILITY TOOL , after I performed that cleanup I restarted my laptop. 

And now I can't able to install .NET Framework 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5.. 

I got fatal error with 4.0 and 4.5. 

I tried: 

• Disable / enable .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows features
• I do sfc /scannow
• I run cleanup utility tool and reinstall .net frameworks but still got the error.

I already did all the methods indicated in the link you provided. But still can't install .NET Framework, it says Fatal error during installation. What do you think will be my last resort for this problem? I need this badly so that I can use my Visual Studio and SQL Servers. :( Can I do a Windows OS Repair for this problem? Will that help? Thank you.
