Some of my file "Date modified" do not get updated at times. This happens quite often to Microsoft maker files .wlmp and other binary files with extension .dat. Any clues?

    Good Morning.

    1. No recent changes to the computer.
    2. I also found issue with some .g files, likely more.
    3. No error reported. I just keep editing saving and saving these files and the file dates could not change. .g file in some other directories do get changed.

I also followed steps 1-6 as suggested but found Synchronize... was already checked.

    Thank you!

    Hi

I ran both as suggested. The first went OK but the second one came down with errors. Details below:

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

    Image Version 6.3.9600.17031

    The component store is repairable

    The operation completed successfully.

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    Error: 0x800f0906

The source files could not be downloaded.

Use the “source” option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source location, see

    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinmkId=243077.

The DISM file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

I have now also tried Method 2: clean boot and then restart. It did not help.

    Thanks.

Thanks. I did both scans as suggested and found nothing:

    1. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
    2. The scan completed successfully and no viruses, spyware, and

other potentially unwanted software were detected.

    thank you.
