System Restore does not necessarily restore deleted folders. You will probably need to re-install the program. To make an installation robust it is good practice to keep all installation media and files and also maintain a register of downloaded files plus licensing keys, same as one keeps receipts for goods purchased in a shop.
LaunchAnywhere Program Files Missing
Hi,
I recently accidentally uninstalled a program I downloaded last year. When I restored my computer to an earlier point to retrieve the program, I got the 'LaunchAnywhere program file missing' error message. Please advise. I'm using Windows,7.
Thank you,
tln

2015-01-27T22:13:49+00:00 Thanks for the response but I didn't need to re-install the program. When I looked in my download files I found the InstallWhere file and after running it, my program opened. Your answer did indirectly help me.
Glad to hear that you solved your problem so painlessly. I would now create an "Installation" folder and populate it with subfolders containing your installation programs.
