Basically whenever I try to access my pendrive, this rundll error pop-up will appear.

"~$nhfzqvdslqhlikvodntwothklbdgkmfsiiony.bak

specified module could not be found"

I have already scan and gotten rid of virus from my pendrive, but that pop-up still appears. Please help me! I really need to access my files for school!

Hello,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft community Forums.

As per description, you are unable to access your pen drive in Windows 8. I will help you with this issue.

I would appreciate if you can provide us the following information to help us understand the issue better?

  1. What is the make and model of the computer?
  2. Which security software is installed on the computer?
  3. Is the issue confined to this drive?
  4. Have you tried accessing the pen drive on another computer?

I would suggest you to refer to the steps provided by Rajesh Govind on 23 Nov 2012 in this link:
