Thanks for responding. I have a Toshiba satellite E55t-A5320. It came with windows 8.1

This first happened on May 26 after an update for defender. I tried the keyboard thing and it didnt work so ended up doing going back to a restore point before the update. That gave me back the keyboard.

Everything was good til this last update.

I had to restore to a May 23 update and turn off auto updates. I don't like to do that but it seems to be the only thing that works.

When I tried to uninstall the keyboard driver it has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it.

    Also the mouse pad.

When I checked online there are a lot of people experiencing the same problem. Surely you have a fix for this issue.
