Prpblems with creating ö, ä, ü

Im working with Mac OS 10.15.7 and sometimes working trough this app on win 10 trough VPN to my company, it's does not function well ö, ä, ü. It shows then other signs.
Can you help.

1. You use Microsoft Remote Dekstop app for Mac to remote connect to the Win 10 PC from your Mac book, right?
2. When you use Mac Keyboard to type ö, ä, ü in the windows remote session, it shows other signs, right?
3. May I know what language your are using on your mac book and windows PC? How about the keyboard layout?
