I got BSOD for a long time and cannot solve it. I have reinstalled the system for 100 times and replaced everything(ssd, graphics, memory, even motherboard) in my system except CPU to check what's going on but still cannot find the proble. The BSOD is about KERNEL DATA INPAGE ERROR and when I use windbg.exe to check the minidump file, it shows that the error code is 0xc000003f.

I really need help here. Please

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community,

I can understand the Inconvenience caused, we are here to help you with your concern.

I really appreciate your effort in trying to find the cause of the issue.

As per the description provided, it looks like it could be due to faulty hard drive and virus.

I would suggest you to manually run the Chkdsk command prompt utility to check a drive. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Press “Windows key + X “, Select Command prompt (Admin).
  2. Type the following command, and then press Enter:

chkdsk /scan <Drive letter> :

     3.  After the scan is complete, you are notified if errors are found.

     4.  If errors are found, run the following command to resolve the errors:

chkdsk /spotfix <Drive letter> :

The chkdsk utility may require you to restart the computer or to force unmounts. In this case, make sure that you save your work to avoid data loss.

Important: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost

I would also suggest you to scan your computer with the Microsoft Safety Scanner.

Click on the link below to scan your computer.

Important Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Hope this information is helpful. If you have any further concerns, please get back to us and we will be glad to assist you further.

it looks like the problem is irreproducible for me so I cannot tell what actually cause the BSOD from the beginnig.

Are you sure the power supply has the chance to produce such a fault, too. That sound weird to me.

This is the same system that you posted on in August? was the Q not resolved then?

Does the problem occur when running specific software, or a specific process?

Usually caused by memory or hard drive issues (A faulting power supply can also cause problems with these components)

You located the mini dmp file and upload it to a file sharing site, for public access, eg SkyDrive then post the link back her for someone to check it
