Browser won,t remember last scroll position

This is not a major issue its just a little annoying. Anyways, when I surf the web and then return to my homepage (yahoo) the homepage will not be where I left it. In other words I will have to scroll down to where I left off.

This started happening a few weeks ago. It did not use to do this.

I have the latest updates for Windows, Adobe and Java.

Also, I have tried going back with the backspace button, alt+left arrow and the top of page left side back arrow and it still does not take me back to my original scroll position.

Was wondering if there was a quick fix for this?

I am using ie 11 windows 8.1

Thanks

    Hi Mark,

Apologies for the delay in response.

Check to see if Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter helps.

    1. Open Control Panel.
    2. Search for "Troubleshooting" from the search box.
    3. Click View all on the left. Select Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter.
    4. Follow the wizard.

If this does not help, please delete browser cache.

    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Click Tools and then Internet Options.
    3. Click “Delete” under “Browsing History”.
    4. Check all the options and click “Delete”. Click OK.

Do reply if you continue to face the issue.
