Itunes is able to recognize my iphone but windows is not

I plug in iphone then go to device and printers and troubleshoot the iphone by reinstalling the driver. It works fine after that.

But again on PC restart same thing happens and again I have to troubleshoot and reinstall

Tried:

  1. Reinstalling every apple software 10 times including mobile device support
  2. Installing previous as well as latest version of itunes but problem with every version
  3. Resetting my iphone 15 times.

Talked to apple they said it is a windows issue

Not ready to reinstall or format windows at any cost

Can anyone suggest some solutions?

Hi,

Thank you for update

A Code 37 error basically means that the driver installed for the hardware device has failed in some way.

Please follow the steps suggested below:

Method 1. Roll back the driver and check

How to rollback driver.

  1. Open Device Manager from the Windows 7 Control Panel.
  2. In Device Manager, locate the device that you want to roll back the driver for.

Note: Navigate through the hardware categories by clicking the > icon. You can find specific devices under these major hardware categories.

  1. After finding the hardware you're rolling back the driver for, right click on the device's name or icon and click on Properties.
  2. In the Properties window for the device, click the Driver tab.
  3. On the Driver tab, click the Roll Back Driver button.

Note: If the Roll Back Driver button is disabled, Windows 7 does not have a previous driver to roll back to so you won't be able to complete this process.

  1. Click the Yes button to the "Are you sure you would like to roll back to the previously installed driver software?" question.

The previously installed driver will now be restored. You should see the Roll Back Driver button as disabled after the roll back is complete.

  1. Click the Close button at the bottom of the device properties screen.
  2. Click Yes on the System Settings Change dialog box that says "Your hardware settings have changed. You must restart your computer for these changes to take effect. Do you want to restart your computer now?"
  3. Your computer will now automatically restart.

When Windows 7 starts again, it will load with the device driver for this hardware you had previously installed now try to connect your USB drive check if it’s work.

Method 2.If that doesn't work remove and reinstall USB controllers.

    Hi Dishant,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Communities.

I appreciate the steps which you have performed to get the issue resolved by yourself.

    I'd like to know:

    1. If this issue is specific to iPhone?
    2. Is other USB devices connected working properly?
    3. Does the iPhone work correctly on different computer?

    Troubleshooting steps:

    Method 1:

Do install the latest Windows Updates including optional updates and check if that helps.

    Method 2:

For error code - 37, the driver returned a failure when it executed the Driver Entry routine. Reinstall the drivers for this device.

    Uninstall and reinstall the driver:

Uninstall the driver from Device Manager, and then scan for new hardware to install the driver again. In the device's Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall. Follow the instructions. Restart your computer.

Open Device Manager, click Action, and then click Scan for hardware changes. And follow the instructions thereafter.

    Method 3:

I'd suggest you to look for the Auto Sync settings in the iTunes application. In addition to this check for the updates for iTunes version for your computer.
