Calendar webpart in modern sharepoint online page won't support color coding?

I have a overlayed calendar in my sharepoint site. I have added 3 overlays with 3 different colors. calendar.aspx page shows the overlayed calendar nicely. I am trying to configure the same in one of my modern page. I tried to add a 'Calendar' webpart and configured the URL ../calendar.aspx but it is simply showing the basic calendar without overlays. I am able to add multiple calendars to this webpart but the color cannot be altered. How to configure an overlayed calendar in a 'calendar' webpart.

I tried 'Embed link' webpart and configured it with the calendar URL. It is but showing the entire page and also trying to create a new item will break the page, so this approach can't be taken.

Can anyone help me on this. Thank you in advance :)

    Hi @Anonymous ,

As far as I know, there is no 'Calendar' webpart for modern page. Can you tell me how did you add the Calendar web part? Is that a spfx web part?

Some features in calendar only work in classic page. So for your requirements, I suggest you'd better use classic page to add the Calendar webpart.

Create a wiki page, insert the calendar web part and choose the calendar view. Then click apply button.
