How uninstall UpdateAdmin?

Anonymous

A box asking "Do you want to allow window\Installer\600ce239.msi program from unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?" pops up. And my Uninstall stops when I enter "no" at the prompt. Is it safe to reply "yes"? I think UpdateAdmin is a virus and I want to remove it from my computer.

Thank you,

Hi,

Please see this free, multi-step removal guide: http://malwaretips.com/blogs/snap-do-toolbar-removal/[http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-update-admin-virus/](http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-update-admin-virus/)

In case you can't do a step, move on with the next steps.

Note: Step 4 (Hitman Pro) might not be necessary.

Cheers,

J

Thank you,

Have you sought assistance from your antimalware provider (Avast, AVG, Avira, McAfee, Norton, Trend Micro, etc)?

See the following free removal guide from Malwaretips:

http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-update-admin-virus/

If you do not see the program in Control Panel that you think is responsible for the ads and popups or you cannot uninstall it using Revo then move on to steps 2 through 4 (scan with AdwCleaner, Malwarebytes Free and if necessary use Hitman Pro).  You may need to reset your browsers as described in step 5.

Good luck…
