Digital signature problems

I have recently tried to reinstall my receipt printer to my pos system which I have previously had set up.

The problem that I am now having is that when I try to install the POS receipt printer via a virtual COM Port I have an error coming up of "the third party INF does not contain digital signature information".

To overcome this I have tried to go through the process of disabling the digital signature setting in the windows advanced start up menu however as many times as I try and go through the steps my computer will not go to this menu and just goes straight through to the normal sign in page.

I have also tried

bcdedit /set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS & bcdedit /set testsigning on

which comes up with the following

"The operation completed successfully.

An error has occurred setting the element data.

The value is protected by Secure Boot policy and cannot be modified or deleted.

And still the same error message occurs "the third party INF does not contain digital signature information

Any assistance to get this sorted out would be much appreciated.

Trevor
