7zip Application not found

Question

For the last past weeks I got the common error of Application not found on 7 zip. My computer is on windows 8 and also I think the 7 zip is corrupted but I do not know how to fix the problem. All help appreciated.Also just to let you a virus caused but I managed to get rid of it but the problem is till there.

7-zip is not a Microsoft program.  Since it's an open source third party program suggest you seek assistance from "7-zip" if you're having difficulties with the program.

If you continue to have malware issues suggest seek advice from your antimalware provider (Avast, AVG, McAfee, Norton, etc).

Alternatively you may wish to run several of the following free scanners which will not interfere with your installed antimalware program:
