Hi All,
Recently we have migrated to SQL MP Version 7.0.24.0 and seems like it Triggers alert even tho the SQL Service is in disabled state.
Also "DB Engine Health Status" Monitor keep triggering the below alerts from the servers were SQL Instance are disabled.
SQL instance "XXX" on computer "xyz.com" is in unhealthy state and reports "Instance is unavailable".
How do we exclude the disabled SQL Services from these Monitors?

Thanks for your response.
We have 100+ Instance (Totally Different Names) where they have disabled the SQL Server and Agent Service. (Server has multiple instances, only few are disabled). It's not possible to add every instance to the exclusion list (Wildcard also difficult).
First question, Basically, Service Monitoring should not pick if that is in disabled state. ( Windows Base Operating System MP has few service monitoring enabled, but it pick only when it is in enabled state and ignores disabled ones).
DB Engine health status does not monitor the status of the SQL service...
This is the SQL MP design issue for SQL MP to discovery agent when it was installed in agent regardless whether it is disable or not.
with refer to your issue, you may create a group containing server which has sql services installed and its has disabled state and then apply disable discovery on this group.
