Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error

Hello Everyone

whenever I start vlc media player this message pops up... what should I do?

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program:C\Program Files (86)\VideoLAN\VLC\Vlc.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for more information."
