As of Jan. 9, 2015, Windows mail required me to log in to my emails. I have never had to do this before. I have no idea what my username and password is and I am not having any luck talking to customer service or tech people in getting an answer other than I need to buy a $99 or $150 program to take care of it because it must be a virus, even though I have Webroot virus protection. All I need to do is get or reset my Windows mail account log in, but I have no idea how.

If I remove the account, won't I loose all the existing emails that I have?
I would suggest you remove the account from WinMail, reboot and add it back.
