Hi,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

This issue might be caused by corrupt files of Adobe creative cloud.

To fix this issue I suggest you to follow some methods.

Method 1: Disable antivirus and then place the computer in Clean Boot.

Step 1: Disable antivirus- follow the link to disable antivirus.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/disable-antivirus-software#1TC=windows-7

Anti-virus disclaimer:

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Step 2: Clean Boot.

Place the computer in clean boot state and check if the issue is caused due to any third party program/app or not. Clean boot will help you determine which third party program/app is causing this issue.

Note: After clean boot troubleshooting step, refer to the section "How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot" in the provided link to return your computer to Normal startup mode.

Method 2. Refer to the following Microsoft Help article to uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uninstall-change-program#uninstall-change-program=windows-7

Try these methods and check whether the issue persist.

Please reply with the status of the issue, so that we could help you better.

This is a detailed generic answer that does not solve the problem.

This file worked previously and allows Adobe Creative Cloud to set up.

I re-installed Windows 10 (literally for the third time) in order to dream that One Drive would work this time instead of giving me the classic exception error OneDrive failure.

In this new Windows 10 Pro install theĀ Adobe Creative Cloud file which previously worked (CreativeCloudSet-Up.exe) NOW FAILS.

    See screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/w8sGyFiR

...and of course, One Drive also fails with the classic Exception Error message.

SO MUCH DAMN WORK TO REINSTALL WINDOWS several times a year to fix WINDOWS PROBLEMS.
