Cursor hijack

I get this issue daily on my laptop. Running on Win 8.1 is not continuously or at any regular intervals. when working on anything at any giving time; the cursor appears to be frozen always in the same place; bottom right hand corner in within a square or circle semi-transparent and won't move there. Although I can continue to work moving the cursor is like ghostly because I drag the cursor knowing where I need to click and I see it and disappears . I can click most of the times but not always.  I have found away to gain control back But it is a hassle. Need to get the search bar on right to appear type rec to get the steps recorder and push record; then as soon as I click on comment it goes away.  I have run malware and spyware no results, also AV is up to date; and the windows as well.  Please let m know any suggestions.

It May be Linked to Touchpad Driver Fault or Hardware Problem. have You tried Using a Mouse?

One More Thing Ensure Laptop Chargers Are not carrying current near Touchpad. (Magnetic Filed Disrupts Working)
