How do I fix PXE-E76 bootup error?

I run Windows 7 on a Lenovo IdeaCentre K220. Whenever I start the machine, I get the boot error:

PXE-E76: Bad or missing multicast discovery address

It doesn't seem to affect my computer's performance, but it's irritating. How do I fix this?

Hi,

I would suggest you to try the steps from the following link and see if that helps.

HI,

Check with Lenovo Support and their forums. You probably have it set to boot to the network

in the BIOS. To access the BIOS watch the screen as it boots for setup (often F2). Set to boot

to the hard drive first.

Hope this helps.

I did set the BIOS to boot to the hard drive first, but the problem persists. I'll try posting to the Lenovo Forums. Thanks for the link.
