What version of the game are you trying to install, retail disk, Steam or other ?

"now "mscvp100.dll is missing" "

It probably was before, but downloading the .dll was not the best way to fix the issue.

Both because it is a bandage solution and potential source of a virus.

It would be better to install, or reinstall  C++ 2010 as suggested by ZigZag -

32bit Windows -

Download: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

The game very likely also has an appropriate C++ installer in the games install folder.

There is commonly a sub-folder with the term Redist in the title, which has things such as

DirectX and C++ installers in it.

This folder could also be in one of the other sub-folders, such as Binaries.

Some games even have the installer  - vcredist+x86.exe  -  in the main directory.

Download msvcr100.dll. Place it in C:\Windows\System32.

    Then Run C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe as Administrator.

    Type in 'regsrv32 msvcr100.dll' or 'regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\msvcr100.dll'

msvcr100.dll is part of Microsoft visual C++ (2010).  You need to remove it (if installed) and install a clean copy of it
