Intel USB Drivers down

Hello,

I have a Dell Latitude E5430 Laptop with three USb drives, two of which are Intel 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family and one is Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host controller. All three of them stopped working. When I plug in my external hard drive, it turns on (light comes on and it stars whirring) but the computer does not recognize anything or make any indication that it detects something in the USB. I went onto Device Manager and found this error message: "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"

Please let me know if there is anything you recommend.

Thanks,

As you already know, you have three problem devices, two of which can be fixed reinstalling the INTEL Chipset for your system, and as for the Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver, there is a standalone package and I have placed a link below.

Note: Please confirm that the links that are provided, match your systems make and model.

Before reinstalling or updating the drivers below, I would recommend that you update your system's BIOS.

    System Manufacturer Dell Inc.

    System Model Latitude E5430 non-vPro

    BIOS Version/Date Dell Inc. A07, 10/8/2012

Your currently installed BIOS Version AO7, is six versions older than the latest revision linked below.

    BIOS DISCLAIMER

Updating BIOS should only be done if necessary (to solve a compatibility problem, for example). It can be a complicated process, and if an error occurs, your computer could be rendered inoperable. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions exactly.

Please upload a copy of your system information file. Click "start" , type "msinfo32" , Click "file" at the top of the page, select "export" and give the file a name and click "save" .

Navigate to where the file was saved to, and upload the generated text file to a public folder on your OneDrive account and post the link here.
