Product Name: Pavilion dv7 6195-US with Windows 7 Home Premium

Hi. I have a Pavilion dv7 6195-US bought 3 years ago from HP US store.

All I want to do now is to reinstall the factory windows....without Recovery kit from HP.

I also have a system restore partition on HDD with base.wim file, but it's not recognizeble by HP Recovery manager.

So, i found a solution on the internet with 6 steps to reinstall my factory system (this file "base.wim").

here: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-Systems-and-Software/Another-System-Restore-question/td-p/1933883

After that, I restart my laptop, do a Startup Repair, but there was a problem:

Problem Event Name: Startup Repair Offline

Problem Signature 01: 6.1.7600.16385

Problem Signature 02: 6.1.7600.16385

Problem Signature 03: unknown

Problem Signature 04: 21200421

Problem Signature 05: ExternalMedia

Problem Signature 06: 5 (this number is different every time I do a Startup Repair)

Problem Signature 07: MissingBootManager

OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1

Local ID: 1033

"Failure while setup is in progress" it says in detail note.

Please help me out how to figure out a way to restore my factory windows on a formatted HDD.

There is no problem with my base.wim, I restore it ok with image.exe.... but the only problem is after the restart of my laptop and basicaly start windows for the first time... doesn't work.

Thanks a lot !
