Dears,

In my company, our system admin change some group policies from his side preventing connecting to WiFi other than that of the company.

After time they removed these polices but my laptop still stuck and once I connect to any wifi (except company wifi), I face a very high packet loss (even towards the access point).

I have tried to check with the system admin but the advised that there is nothing from their side, but I still believe that I have some polices that preventing me from connecting.

Once I connect to VPN the packet loss is solved directly.

I am suspecting that they are using some policy depends on encryption and WiFi security.

Would you please help me how can I confirm that I have these polices on my laptop? Noting I am using Windows 10...

Waiting your supports dear.

Best Regards.

    Hello Haydar,

Thank you so much for posting here.

Based on my understanding, Our Windows 10 is joined domain, right? If so, to check the applied group policy on our machine, we could run "gpresult /h" to get a detailed group policy result report.

Logon Windows 10 and open CMD, run as administrator. Type gpresult /h C:\report.html and click Enter. Open report file to check the policies under Computer Details. We could check the policies applied to our laptop via this way.

For any question, please feel free to contact us.

    Best regards,
    Hannah Xiong
