\windows\system32\winload.efi

Error code: 0xc000000f

That's the only thing that turns up when I open my computer. I've done the advanced options and have been searching for a good solve to this for 4 days now. The only thing I haven't done is refresh my PC, I would not like to lose any files. From the "Choose an option" screen I tried startup repair, all that turned up after that was:

Startup Repair couldn't repair your PC

Log file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt

I've tried tons and tons of commands that all don't work in my situation. I made a USB with bootable windows 8.1 and tried fixing it with that. I've been on almost every site for this error so this is really my last resort. Otherwise I could just buy a Mac...

Hi,

As you have tried Start-up Repair using the built-in software as well as a USB Stick with Windows 8.1 on it for Repair to no avail, Refresh is the next step.

But before you do that as you arer worried about your files:

Saving your files:

You can pull the Hard Drive and put it in a USB Hard Drive Enclosure > plug it into another Computer > and attempt to read and copy over your Data that way.

Cheers.

In that case, save your data as I suggested earlier and then reset to Factory Settings:

    Saving your files:

You can pull the Hard Drive and put it in a USB Hard Drive Enclosure (you can buy online or from your local Computer repair shop)> plug it into another Computer > and attempt to read and copy over your Data that way.

    Cheers.

When I try to refresh it says "There was a problem refreshing your PC. No changes were made."

Right now I can't attain a USB hard drive enclosure, is there any way to move files through command prompt? Also, will audio files in a GoogleChrome downloads folder be deleted? Same question for a folder on the desktop.
