Can't delete files from Program Data

I need to delete some log files for a program I was running.  The files are in Program Data, but when I try to delete the logs I get the following message:

Folder Access Denied

You need permission to perform this action

Your require permission from Administrators to make changes to this folder

(Folder name )

(Date created)

Question is,  how do I get permission.  It is my personal home computer and I really need to delete these log files.  Thanks.
