Zune software keeps crashing

Every time I try to open the Zune Software I get the error message "Microsoft Zune has stopped working".

I tried reinstalling, turning off my anti virus software  and creating a different user profile on my computer. I keep getting this error message every time I try to open zune. I need this so I can change the music on my zune. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

(There was no category option for zune so I used groove music. Hope I'm not breaking any rules or anything.)

    Same issue: Zune client crashing, no explanation, Win10 x64, Windows Update all up to date.

    I also have this problem in win 10.

    it happen after the srore bug caused all store apps not to open.

    I created a new user and it opens.

    so it looks like something got corrupt in my profile for zune.

    i'm seeing a lot of file corruption in win 10

    any ideas of what zune files could be corrupt.

    I tried replacing the folder in username\apps\local\Microsoft\zune.

    but that didn't fix it.

    Microsoft did have a kb to fix this but it won't work in win 10.

    I have also run into this problem since I upgraded to 10.  Strange thing is, it worked for a few minutes before it crashed.  I was even able to load a podcast onto my Zune HD.  Then it crashed during use, and subsequently it crashes immediately on opening.

    If I understand your description correctly, then you have an issue with your Zune software.

    What operating system are you using on your PC?

    Since when do you have this issue?

    Did you perform an update on the PC?

    Hello! Thank you for your reply. Yes, I am having issues with my zune software on my PC.

    My operating system is windows 10 home edition 64-bit.

    This issue started happening about 3 days ago, the software immediately crashes when I try to open it.

    I have not preformed an update to my PC recently.

    If there's any other information you need from me, please let me know.
