Hi Leonidia,
Welcome to Microsoft Community. I will certainly help you with the issue that you are facing. I would like to ask a few questions, in order to understand the issue better.
- When was the last time it was working fine?
- Have you made any recent software or hardware changes to the computer?
- Have you checked if the issue persists with a wired mouse?
This issue usually occurs when there is a driver conflict. You may try the following methods to diagnose and resolve the issue.
Method 1:
I recommend you to connect a wired USB mouse and check if it works fine. By doing so we can check if the issue is with wireless drivers or pointer settings.
If the issue persists, we need to check if this is due to the settings of the drivers. To do so, refer to method 2.
Method 2: Check Mouse Settings
Try the following steps to change the mouse settings to the default and check if it works fine.
- Press Windows + X. Click on Control Panel.
- On the top right corner, change the view type to large icons.
- Click on Mouse.
- Browse to the tap “pointers” and click on “use defaults”
- Click on apply and then click on Ok.
If the issue persists, update the drivers. Refer to method 3.
Method 3: Install the latest drivers
Download and install the latest drivers and check if the issue persists. You refer to the following Microsoft article for the same.
