Hi,
Thank you for the update on the issue.
Let’s boot the computer in Safe Mode and check if issue reappears. Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that starts your computer in a limited state. Only the basic files and drivers necessary to run Windows are started. The words Safe Mode appear in the corners of your monitor to identify which Windows mode you’re using. You may refer to the article mentioned below to boot the computer in safe mode.

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.
I can imagine the inconvenience you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to fix the issue. However, I would appreciate if you could answer a few questions to narrow down the issue in order to provide you with better assistance.
As per the issue description you are unable to play League of Legends game. It crashes while playing game and gives an error "A program has caused the program to stop working correctly". The issue could be if some security software or third party services/application is restricting it to work properly.
I would suggest you to try the steps provided in the methods provided below and see if it helps you to fix the issue.
Method 1
I would suggest you to run that application in compatibility mode and see if it brings any difference. For running the application in compatibility mode you may refer to the link provided below.
**Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows**
**Get your apps and devices working in Windows 8.1**
Method 2
If issue persists, try to boot the computer in clean boot and disable security software temporarily then try to play the game as there could be chance that some security software or some startup items is restricting it work properly.
Step 1: Perform Clean boot.
Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.

**Note:**Refer "How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting" to reset the computer to start as normal after troubleshooting.
Step 2: Disable Security software temporarily.
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Step 3
