For some reason everytime I restart my computer I need to reinstall the mouse. If I just close the lid and open it again to use the mouse usually startsup with no problem.
Anyone have a similar issue?
I have used the mouse on two different laptops, one with Win 8 and one with Win 7. Same issue on both laptops.

As per the issue description you need to reinstall the arc mouse after each restart. The issue could be if there is some drivers corruption or it need an update.
Try to install the drivers from the link mentioned below and see if it helps you to fix the issue.
