Coloruservice problems

I am having problems with an app called ColorUService.exe. I keep getting a notice saying (The program can't start because MSVCP100.dII is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem) I blame this program for letting in malware that corrupted my desktop files. I phoned Microsoft Help  which ran an antimalware program which cleaned up my corrupted files, but they charged me over 400$ for the service & I still get the notice about ColourUService.exe on my screen. How can I permanently delete this dammed program without too much more damage to my bank balance?

Are you sure you contacted Microsoft Answerdesk (that’s the MS site for premium support) for assistance?  We have nothing to do with that outsourced site but $400 frankly sounds exorbitant for a single incident “repair.” https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/answerdesk

What malware was found in your computer?

I assume you’re using an Asus computer?

Google search indicates ColorUService.exe is an Asus file – it should have been installed by Asus when the computer was built. http://www.freefixer.com/library/file/ColorUService.exe-137895/
