Windows Live Mail 2011 - Error Code 0x80090326

After upgrading to Windows 10 and successful configuration of Windows Live Mail (WiLM), everything was going on smoothly till a week ago when the Windows Live Mail stopped functioning and threw up the error code 0x80090326. Tried re-installation of WiLM but no success. Was heavily dependent on WiLM and had two very important accounts configured. Have I lost all the earlier mails? How can I get the WiLM to get going again?   ....SOS...

Incidentally, my Windows Upgrade Option has also started playing up and  options are NOT displayed when in the Settings Panel under Windows Update...

Should I be regretting for upgrading to Win 10??

That is, I think, a SECURE_CHANNEL error. Please check your security protocols: press Windows key  + R, type control and press Enter. Open Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll down to Security and ensure that you have SSL 2.0 and 3.0 disabled and TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 enabled.

    Do you have iTunes installed?

PS Windows Live Mail 2011 isn't supported on Windows 10.

    Hi,

To better isolate your concern, may we know if that's the only account associated in your Outlook?

    Regards.

    Hi,

To better understand the issue, may we know what is the version of Windows Live Mail installed on your PC? Also, what is the type of email account that you have configured on Windows Live Mail?

    Regards.
