Live email account password

I am trying to add/transfer my existing Live email accounts to a new computer but have forgotten the passwords. Where do I go to get the information please?.

    You can't extract the passwords for mail accounts from Windows Live Mail. They're stored encrypted in the program's store folder, and the encryption key is derived from the user profile where it's stored. If you don't have a record of them elsewhere, you'll have to use the 'forgot password' option that's usually prominent on the Email Service Provider's login page.

    I followed your information and got the passwords for my accounts and was able to transfer the accounts onto my new computer. Most worked ok, but some 'storage folders' with saved mail, and the 'contacts' list didn't transfer over. Thanks again.
