MultipleInvokePromptMinimum registry key not working

I tried to create a key 'MultipleInvokePromptMinimum' key in the registry (as it was missing from the registry) as explained in this forum to get context menu 'open with' when selected multiple files, but even after following the tutorial i am unable to get 'open with' in context menu in explorer. I have found similar tutorial in some other forums also so it ensures the sanctity of this forum tutorial. One thing i also noticed when i did google to find such a tutorial is that the context menu 'open with' is missing only when more than 15 files are selected but in my case when more than just one file are selected then 'open with' is missing! I'm using Window 8 64bit single language, comes preinstalled with my HP ENVY Phoenix h9-1326in.

Please help to resolve my problem as this is very irritating when opening many files one by one when you want them to be opened simultaneously........
