Multiple computers, single user, using a single workspace on a network drive

Our boss wants to be able to replicate a behavior found in VSS in TFS. He wants to be able to map the workspace of multiple computers (A, B, and C) to a single folder in a network drive. This way he can check an item out on computer A and work on it, go to computer B and do more work, and then do some more work on computer C, and check it in. The checkin should then should be reflected on computers A and B.

Is this even possible with TFS 2013?
