    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

I would like to inform you that you may upgrade to Windows 10 as Windows 10 is familiar and easy to use, with lots of similarities to Windows 7.

You may refer to the links given below to know more about Windows 10.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/features

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/support

When you will install Windows 10 you will get prompts that which program is compatible or incompatible so you will be able to uninstall the programs and re-install them afterwards.

Make sure that you have the Product key and media to re-install the programs.

Hope this information helps. Please let us know if you need any other assistance with Windows in future. We will be happy to assist you.

Maynak, on the same PC where I have Win7 Prof, I was thinking about downloading WIN10.  Do you think it's a good idea and will it affect any of my existing progs.and applications?

Thanks Mayank. The sac says 'no integrity violation'.  Have tried troubleshoot and will re-start.

    Thanks for your help.

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

As per the description, I understand that you are unable to fix some corrupt system files on your computer.

Note: While performing SFC Scan I would recommend you to make sure that there are no applications or programs running on the back ground.

If the above doesn’t work, then try the steps mentioned in the article given below.
