Hello,
Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
I can imagine the inconvenience you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to fix the issue. However, I would appreciate if you could answer a few questions to narrow down the issue in order to provide you with better assistance.
- What is the exact make and model no. of your printer?
- Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
- Do you have the related printer driver discs to install the printer?
The issue may arise if the printer driver package of the printer model is either not installed properly or has got corrupted. In order to diagnose and fix the issue, I would suggest try the following methods and check if the issue persists.
Method 1:
Run the printer troubleshooter and check if it helps. It makes sure that a printer is connected to your computer, and it checks for common issues such as whether the printer has enough paper and toner to complete printing your document.
Open the Printer troubleshooter
If the issue still exists, try the next method.
Method 2:
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the latest full feature printer drivers and check if the issue persists.
Step 1: Uninstall the printer drivers installed in the system
- Open Programs and Features, by click Start >Control Panel >Programs and Features.
- Locate and select the Epson printer drivers in the list of programs.
- Click Uninstall and follow the onscreen instructions.
- Reboot your system.
Step 2: Reinstall the printer drivers
Reinstall the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website compatible with Windows 7.
