RDP "Unable to connect" in ANY version—BETA or otherwise

Until very recently, my Mac had no problems connecting to my remote desktop. On Tuesday I started getting this error message:

After checking in with the administrator (who couldn't find a problem and assures me the settings haven't changed), I have since tried the following:

  1. All available Catalina OSX updates (+ restarts)—I haven't upgraded to Big Sur and don't intend to anytime soon, so my Mac is running OSX Catalina 10.15.7
  2. Deleting the Temp Folder (+ restart)—to close any potentially open connections
  3. Uninstalling and reinstalling 10.5.1 (+ restart between)
  4. Trying the old Version 8.0.44 (Build 30030)
  5. AND Installing Version 10.6.0 (1857) BETA, to which I am now getting this error message:

It's been a couple of weeks since I last had to access it, but it did work fairly recently—around the end of January. What are we missing?

    Hi,

Recently, we received several similar issue posts.

Please first try below steps to see if they help.

    1. On the windows PC, disable Network Level Authentication
    2. Enable Local group policy Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Security\Require use of specific security layer for remote (RDP) connection - RDP

If above not help, please kindly report the issue to the UseVoice:
