Hello,

I have a RDS farm, with multiple collections.
I have # of user that have secondary account, the secondary account let the user to access sensitive data.

My scenario is,
Let's say I have a user with user name domain\sam, he has a secondary account domain\sam2.
We have RDS collection "Default" and "Restricted".
Is there a way to make sam login as domain\sam to RDS and open outlook from the Default collection. At the same time, he uses another web browser and login as domain\sam2 and connect to the collection "Restricted" and open an app as domain\sam2? from the same PC?
Those user who has secondary account used to have 2 PCs (1 HW and 1 VM) to perform those tasks and I am trying to move the operation to RDS.

Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

Yes, you can use the same computer to let two accounts separately connect to two collections. Please do following configurations.

    1. On DC, create two user groups in the domain, one contains all the accounts like domain\sam, and the other one contains all the accounts like domain\sam2
    2. On RDCB server, navigate to Collections, select collection "Default" and Edit Properties, then go to "User Groups" tab, add Group 1 (domain\sam) and remove other groups. Do same steps for collection "Restricted" to add Group 2 (domain\sam2).

    3. After that, the user can use two accounts to sign on the web browser and respectively connect to two collections.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    Please confirm below settings.

    1. The outlook app has been published in "Restricted" successfully.
    2. You have give the access permission to the remote app outlook for domain\sam2. For a user account to have access to RemoteApp, the user account must have access to both the remoteapp program and the collection.
Right click the app "Outlook" and edit properities>Add domain\sam2 or check "All uers and groups that have access to the collection" under User Assignment. 68812-image.png

Hi together, I have a Windows Server 2022 RD-Farm with 3 RDSH and I would like to establish a connection with 2 users at the same time from a single Windows 10/11 client . The problem is that the second user kicks out the first and, although I logged in with the credentials of user 2, I am in the profile of user 1. What should I set so that I can use mstsc.exe to the same RD-FARM Collection from the same computer/client with 2 different users with different credentials? regards Oliver
