I have recently been experiencing numerous Blue Screen related crashes on my Windows 7 Desktop VIBOX PC since updates for windows 10 have come about (It has been a good few months).

Blue Screen crashes experienced:

I have researched online on the Blue Screen Crashes, what causes them to be triggered and numerous ways to fix the problem, and I have just started to feel brave enough to attempt a fix.

After logging each of the blue screen crashes with photographs, I resorted to purchasing AVG Driver Updater to fix my out of date drivers, as well a AVG PC TuneUp. Using AVG Driver Updater it had found 5 out of date drivers that needed updating:

Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (Network Adapters)

VIA High Definition Audio (Sound, Video, and Game Controllers)

Standard Duel Channel PCI IDE Controller (Storage Controller)

Standard Duel Channel PCI IDE Controller (Storage Controller)

ATI I/O Communications Processor (System Devices)

I proceeded with the updates but one of the updates ran into an error -

This error did not appear again after selecting OK, and restarting my computer. Which left the remaining Storage Controller drivers to be updated. Once all processes for the Driver updates were complete I scanned to check for any remaining Driver updates. There being none. (I have photographs of the Driver Installation report for AMD Radeon Graphics if needed to be viewed. which were all a success.)

I did not have another blue screen crash until this evening after work. Not giving me any error information except for the STOP Error Codes:

Once I had logged on afterwards however I received an unexpected shutdown report:

Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown

Problem signature:

Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1

Locale ID: 2057

Additional information about the problem:

BCCode: 1e

BCP1: FFFFFFFFC000001D

BCP2: FFFFF800030F3238

BCP3: 00000000003EDD68

BCP4: 0000000FFFFFFF00

OS Version: 6_1_7601

Service Pack: 1_0

Files that help describe the problem:

C:\Windows/Minidump/010516-29250-01.dmp

C:(myname)\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-70528-0.sysdata.xml

I regularly clean most junk files with CCleaner and check for problems with the registry, As well as regular Malware Checking with Malwarebytes. Which have helped to some degree. But Blue Screen crashes still persist. (I have had one crash which was most peculiar pictured below. This hasn't happened again since however.)

My System Specs and Summary:

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1

Storage: 2TB

Processor: AMD FX(tm)-6350 Six-Core Processor 4.20GHz

Installed Memory (RAM) 16.0GB

System type: 64-bit Operating System

Graphics GeForce GTX 660

I would really appreciate some assistance with my current Blue Screen Crash. Thank you for all of your time and assistance you may bring. :) x

Until we can obtain copies of the dump files we will be unable to determine the cause of the blue screen errors. We must therefore resolve this problem first.

Please check that your dump files settings are set to produce a Kernel memory dump. Select Start, Control Panel, System, Advanced system settings, Advanced tab, and click the Startup Recovery Settings button. Under System failure check the boxes before Write an event to the system log and Automatically restart. Change the Write debugging information option using the scroll to the right to Kernel memory dump. ClickOK and, in the next window click Apply and OK. Restart your computer to apply the changes.

Please open cCleaner and uncheck the box before Memory Dumps. It is the fourth item in the System section on the Windows tab.

When the next blue screen occurs see if you are then able to obtain and upload a dump file to your OneDrive.

Please download and run Driver View and upload a copy of the report it produces to your OneDrive. To get a report on all drivers select Edit, Select All followed by File, Save Selected Items.

    http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html

Please provide a copy of your System Information file. Type System Information in the Search Box above the start Button and press the ENTER key (alternative is Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information). Select File, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. Do not place the cursor within the body of the report before exporting the file. The system creates a new System Information file each time system information is accessed. You need to allow a minute or two for the file to be fully populated before exporting a copy. Please upload the file to your OneDrive, share with everyone and post a link here. Reports in normal mode preferred. Please say if the report has been obtained in safe mode. The request for a copy of this file is additional to answering the question about make and model. If the report is in a language other than English, please state the language.

"You may need to change your settings in Windows to be able to see the file. To show hidden files type Folder Options in the search box above the Start button and select View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked."

I have followed this, selected the View tab and have found the list of check boxes. I proceeded to check "Show hidden files and folders", and had unchecked "Hide protected operating system files" also unchecking "Hide extensions for known file types", selected Apply and OK.  I went to the windows minidump file and a pop up stating that I do not currently have permission to access these files, check ok to get permanent access to these files, which I did, and there aren't any files in the minidump file, stating that the file is empty. :(

As for my PC Make and model I only know that it is a Vibox Sniper, the Motherboard make it is Gigabyte, I am unsure how I would be able to tell you the model. How would I go about this? Thank you for baring with me.

Please upload copies of your dump files as shared files (excluding any more than 14 days old or before you used a system restore point) to your OneDrive with a link here.

The dump file will be created at c:\windows\minidump. You may need to change your settings in Windows to be able to see the file. To show hidden files type Folder Options in the search box above the Start button and select View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked.

What is your computer make and model? If not a branded computer what is your motherboard make and model?

Please download and run Driver View and upload a copy of the report it produces to your OneDrive. To get a report on all drivers select Edit, Select All followed by File, Save Selected Items.
